In the framework of the FishEBM MED project, funded by the Global Environment Facility, the Specially Protected Areas Regional Activity Centre (SPA/RAC) is launching a call for consultation to hire a national expert. The latter will be responsible for supporting the implementation of the project in Morocco.
Under the supervision of the SPA/RAC and in close collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, in particular the Department of Marine Fisheries, the expert will provide technical and analytical support to the SPA/RAC and the national authorities.
His mission will be to develop the National Action Plan for Fisheries and Aquaculture (NAP+) as well as its investment plan, ensuring their alignment with the relevant national, regional and international frameworks.
The expert will actively participate in the identification of priority actions, investment needs and opportunities for innovative blue economy initiatives. In particular, he will contribute to the stakeholder consultation process.
