Call for consultancy to evaluate and update the Coralligenous Action Plan

SPA/RAC is issuing a call for consultancy to evaluate and update the Action Plan for the conservation of Coralligenous and Other Calcareous Bio-concretions in the Mediterranean Sea.

The objectives of the consultancy are to:

• Assess the implementation of the Action Plan for the Conservation of Coralligenous and Other Calcareous Bio-concretions in the Mediterranean Sea.
• Propose a draft update for the Action Plan to be presented as a working document at the 17^th SPA/BD Thematic Focal Point meeting (May 2025) for finalization and endorsement, with the aim of submission to the governing bodies of the Barcelona Convention (MAP Focal Points meeting and CoP24) for adoption.
