The objective of this consultancy is to provide logistical and technical support to SPA/RAC in organizing and conducting a sub-regional training workshop aimed at enhancing knowledge and skills in monitoring and identifying cartilaginous fishes (Chondrichthyans) in the Adriatic Sea.
The training will be delivered to participants from the Adriatic region, including Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Italy, Montenegro, and Slovenia. It may include both face-to-face and online sessions but should not exceed a total duration of four days, taking place between 25 November and 22 December 2024.
Given the subject matter of the training, the trainers should propose a location that accommodates both theoretical sessions and, most importantly, practical sessions, with access to a suitable, well-equipped laboratory and opportunities for field visits to a port or fish market.
