Call for Consultation: Development of a SPAMI Best Practices Tool on Co-Management and Governance

The Specially Protected Areas Regional Activity Centre (SPA/RAC) is launching a consultation to recruit an expert for the development of a tool on Specially Protected Areas of Mediterranean Importance (SPAMI) best practices in co-management and governance.

The main objective of this call for consultancy is to develop a tool that spotlights the importance and achievement of SPAMIs, showcases best practices in co-management and governance within SPAMIs, highlighting their added value and uniqueness, and supports their replication, scaling-up, and contribution to achieving the CBD Target 3 and the Post-2020 Regional Strategy on Marine and Coastal Protected Areas (MCPAs) and other Effective area-based Conservation Measures (OECMs) in the Mediterranean.
