Call for Consultation: Elaboration of the National Action Plan Plus (NAP+) and Investment Plan for Montenegro aligned with Post-2020 SAPBIO Goals and Targets

The Specially Protected Areas Regional Activity Centre (SPA/RAC) is launching a consultation to recruit a consultant for the elaboration and coordination of the National Action Plan Plus (NAP+) and its investment plan in Montenegro.

The main objectives of this consultancy are to:

Conduct a comprehensive study on the potential and constraints of the blue economy sectors in Montenegro, with a particular focus on marine fisheries, biodiversity, and ecosystem services;
Translate the study’s findings into concrete strategic priorities, actions, and investment opportunities within the NAP+ and its investment plan, aligned with the Post-2020 SAPBIO goals and targets;
Support stakeholder engagement, facilitate national consultations, and provide technical assistance for the establishment of national platforms related to the blue economy and sustainable fisheries.
This consultancy is implemented within the framework of the FishEBM Med Project, funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and coordinated by SPA/RAC.

The assignment requires close collaboration with the national focal point of the project within the Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Northern Region Development of Montenegro.
