Within the framework of the EU-funded SEMPA project, SPA/RAC is launching a call for consultancy to develop a management plan for the coastal and marine area of Al Hoceima National Park (PNAH) in Morocco.
The consultancy will notably aim to:
- compile and update the available ecological and socio-economic data on the site;
- analyse interactions between the study area and its surrounding environment;
- define actions for its protection, enhancement and sustainable development;
- consult local stakeholders and define mechanisms for their participation in the management of the Park.
The study area covers the marine and coastal parts of the PNAH, as defined in previous studies conducted in collaboration with the National Agency for Water and Forests (ANEF) and the Department of Maritime Fisheries (DPM).
