SPA/RAC is launching a call for consultancy to develop a management plan for the Marine and Coastal Protected Area of Ashtoum El Gamil in Egypt.
The assignment aims to:
- Review and synthesize existing ecological, socio-economic and management studies related to the site;
- To reconsider existing management recommendations based on previous ecological and socio-economic assessments;
- Propose a comprehensive management plan including conservation, sustainable use and stakeholder engagement measures;
- Ensure consultation and participation of local stakeholders in the development of the plan.
The working languages for this assignment are English and Arabic.
